  They I.D.'d me for a lighter. The law is tobacco products, not lighters. Are they implying the only use of a lighter is for smoking? I know for a fact you can buy a lighter without I.D. because the sheriff's told me so when I was in Search and Rescue through the sheriff's office. What if somebody had been on their way to a mission, to save somebody's life, and you hassled them for ten minutes they could have spent responding. What if a homeless person didn't have an I.D. and needed a lighter to start a fire (hypothetically) to keep warm? What if teenagers were going hiking, couldn't get a lighter there, got lost, and couldn't start a fire? After I gave my I.D. The manager tried to act like I hadn't given them my I.D. yet and tried to tell me to leave. I asked for my I.D. and the lighter the clerk had already been paid for. They made me late for work, because I had to go back to my car, and then they kept arguing with me after I already paid and showed I.D., almost refusing to give me the product I already purchased. In the past I tried to purchase gas with quarters and they told me I "came in with change too much", mind you this was maybe the third time I'd been in there, and first time I'd used change. That time I was out of gas, and barely made it to Shell where they helped me in a. friendly manner. I will not be returning, and I'd recommend going five miles down the road to avoid the hassle. Especially any EMTs, hikers, or outdoorsman.
